Did you know? The CMF Clip Pro is CMF's first OPEN EAR clip earbuds, and it costs just RM359
CMF by Nothing now sells the Clip Pro in Malaysia for RM359. These clip-on earbuds don't go inside your ear canal. Here are the pros and cons.

Regular earbuds sit inside your ear canal. The CMF Clip Pro is different: it clips onto the outside of your ear like an ear cuff, so your ears stay open and you can still hear what's happening around you.
These are the first open-ear earbuds from CMF by Nothing, the affordable brand under Nothing. They launched globally in August 2026, and since 19 October 2026 they have been officially on sale in Malaysia.
Price and where to buy
The CMF Clip Pro costs RM359 in Malaysia (price checked on 24 October 2026). It comes in three colours: Dark Grey, Light Grey and Coral.
You can buy it online from Nothing's official website, Shopee (official CMF by Nothing store), Lazada (Nothing Flagship Store) and TikTok Shop. In physical stores, it's available at the Nothing Image Store and authorised retailers such as TMT and Urban Republic.
For comparison, the official price is US$99 in the United States and £79 in the UK.

Key features
- Three-point clip design with a flexible titanium wire core, so it hugs the ear without covering the ear canal.
- Lightweight: about 5.9g per earbud.
- 10.8mm dual-magnet drivers, with LDAC support and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification for high-quality music (LDAC works on most Android phones).
- Battery: up to 10 hours on a single charge, and up to 32.5 hours with the charging case. A 10-minute USB-C charge gives about 4 hours of listening.
- Smart Dial on the charging case: twist to adjust volume, press to play, pause or skip tracks. You can remap its functions in the Nothing X app.
- Four microphones with Clear Voice technology for calls.
- Bluetooth 5.4, dual-device connection and Low Lag mode for gaming.
- IP54 splash and dust resistance (for the earbuds, not the charging case).

Did you know? Open-ear earbuds don't have active noise cancellation (ANC), because they're designed to let you hear your surroundings. Instead, the Clip Pro has a mode that reduces sound "leakage", so people next to you can't hear your music.
What do reviewers say?
International reviewers generally praise its comfort, the fun-to-use Smart Dial and its reasonable price. Gizmodo gave it 3.5/5 and considers it good value for the money.
However, a few weaknesses were reported:
- Not loud enough in noisy places, such as on a train or next to a busy road, which is common for open-ear earbuds.
- Average call quality, especially in windy conditions, according to SoundGuys.
- The bass boost feature can make the sound slightly distorted.
- The left and right earbuds are fairly hard to tell apart.
Who is it for?
The CMF Clip Pro suits you if you like jogging, cycling or working while listening to music but still need to stay aware of your surroundings, and you find in-ear earbuds uncomfortable.
If you're often in very noisy places or want ANC, regular in-ear earbuds may be a better fit.
